US Open golf odds

The US Open is the second major of the golfing season and always provides plenty of brilliant US Open golf odds to take advantage of.
Because of the narrow fairways and heavy rough, there is plenty of opportunities for players to slip up and slip down the leaderboard, meaning the US Open golf odds remain tempting right up until the final holes.
However, there is one man who is always worth keeping an eye on – regardless of his off course problems…
Tiger Woods is still worth backing in the US Open golf odds
Tiger Woods has produced perhaps the two most memorable US Open performances of recent years.
In 2000 he won his first US Open title at Pebble Beach when he swept aside the field to win by an incredible 15 shots from runners-up Ernie Els and Miguel Ángel Jiménez.
It was the start of an incredible period for Woods who went on to win the next three majors and become the first player since Bobby Jones to hold all four majors at the same time.
His third win in 2008 was perhaps even more impressive as he had to overcome ACL damage and a double stress fracture in his leg to come through four rounds of golf and then defeat Rocco Mediate in an 18-hole play-off.
Woods has shown in the past that he can upset the US Open golf odds and he will always be worth keeping an eye on in future US Open Championships.
There is a new generation coming through though
Led by Rory McIlroy, there is a new generation of golfers who, inspired by Woods’ exploits, are starting to rip up the course.
McIlroy became the first to make a real breakthrough by winning the 2011 US Open but, with the likes of Rickie Fowler coming through, there are plenty of opportunities to take advantage of some generous US Open golf odds.
