Seville betting odds

Horses with a sound pedigree always often come good in the end and it is hard to argue against Seville becoming a force in the middle distance ranks. Not only is Seville by former Epsom Derby winner Galileo, but his dam was a middle distance winner at a high level in France. Seville may have only won on one of his four starts to date and finished second in the other three, but the fact that these have been over relatively short distances should be taken note of.
Seville likely to be well supported in Epsom Derby odds
The step up to 1m4f for the Epsom Derby should prove the ideal trip for Seville and make him a serious contender to win the Classic. His breeding suggests that stamina should prove no problem and there is every chance that he is capable for reversing form with Epsom Derby favourite Carlton House. Carlton House beat Seville in the Dante Stakes at York, but he was arguably largely unsuited by the slow early pace.
