Look to Inter in Serie A betting

Inter have been the team to follow in Serie A betting in the past four years, and show no sign of relaxing their hold.

Following the 2004-05 title for Juventus, subsequently taken off them, Inter have won the league for three successive seasons, at increasingly short Serie A odds.

They finished third in the table in 2005-06, but with Juventus and Milan both being deducted points they found themselves as champions and their supporters who had given up on their Serie A bets suddenly found themselves richer.

Inter are now within one title of their great rivals Milan’s haul of 17, and the Serie A odds on them equaling that mark this year are growing shorter by the week.

Roma next best for Serie A bets

While Inter have entered a new era of dominance - having previously not won the title since 1988-89 - Roma have shown themselves to be a good option for Serie A bets.

Roma may only have won three scudettos, the last in 2000-01, but they have been runners up 11 times and have pushed Inter closest in each of the last three seasons, making them a popular choice in Serie A betting.

The gialorossi were seven points behind Inter in 2005-06, and though they and the rest of Serie A bowed to Inter in the Serie A betting the following season (they were second but still 22 points behind) Roma fell just three points short last term.

Shorter Serie A odds for rejuvenated Juve

Juventus went from heroes to zeroes when they were stripped of all their points from the 2005-06 season and relegated.

But they have rebuilt and now pose a strong challenge to Inter, having finished third last season. They beat Inter 2-1 away from home last season, the only team to do so in the entire term and achieving the feat at long Serie A odds.

While Juventus are on the rise, one other team of note who have rewarded backers in Serie A betting is Genoa. A Serie B team as recently as 2006-07, Genoa finished 10th last season and have fared even better in 2008-09, ensuring plenty of winning Serie bets as they look to at least secure a European qualification.
