Horse Racing Odds

Horse Racing Odds

Although Grand National odds and Cheltenham Gold Cup odds are perhaps the most searched for over the course of the annual horse racing calendar, punters benefit from a range of options on a daily basis. Racing of some kind takes place virtually every day of the year, with horse racing odds available for meetings up and down the country, from Ayr and Perth in Scotland to Brighton and Exeter in the south of England.

Cheltenham and Ascot a large amount of the horse racing odds

In between is a host of arguably better racecourses, which hold the lion’s share of the big races. Cheltenham is perhaps the biggest, largely because of the four-day Cheltenham Festival that takes place each March. This festival features big races including the Champion Hurdle and the Cheltenham Gold Cup, with Hurricane Fly and Long Run sure to return in an attempt to regain their respective titles this season.

Ascot does host National Hunt racing, but it is the five-day Royal Ascot meeting each June that steals the show. Over 300,000 people are thought to descend on Ascot, including a vast number of women for Ladies Day. Seven Group One races take place across the five days, with Frankel, Camelot and Nathaniel among those likely to appear.

The Grand National makes horse racing odds popular at Epsom

Although not a great deal of quality horse racing is held at Epsom each year, the Grand National makes the course one of the most well known in the sport. Even typically non-horse racing fans are drawn to bet on the Grand National each year, with people finding all sorts of random ways to make their Grand National selections. Jockeys Tony McCoy and Ruby Walsh are the basis of some Grand National bets.
