England Rugby Odds

England are always expected to perform well in all the major international tournaments and β with the notable exception of the 2011 World Cup β they often back up those expectations with results.
However, their record in the Six Nations is far from impressive β despite the England odds often being amongst the shortest.
England have underperformed in the Six Nations
The England rugby team are always expected to perform and challenge for the Six Nations title.
However, they have failed to dominate the championship in the way many predicted they would.
Since the inaugural Six Nations took place back in 2000, England have won the tournament on just four occasions.
You also have to go back to 2003 to find the last time the English rugby team won a Grand Slam title showing that you could do a lot worse than back against England when they are playing away to the likes of Wales, Ireland and Scotland.
England rugby odds are worth looking at in the World Cup
While the 2011 Rugby World Cup was a huge disappointment for England, itβs hard to imagine them making the same mistakes again.
They were ill-disciplined on and off the pitch and crashed out at the quarter final stage to France, equalling their worst ever performance at a World Cup.
However, with players like Ben Foden, Chris Ashton and Manu Tuilagi coming through and showing they can perform against some of the best teams in the world, the England rugby odds on them winning another World Cup may look tempting sooner rather than later.
