Delegator betting odds

Delegator must be one of the most frustrating horses in recent years, particularly in Group One races where he still waits for an elusive victory. Out of an unraced sister to the top class Tomba, Delegator began his career in the Brian Meehan yard, where his most notable victory was in the Craven Stakes at Newmarket. However, he may be better remembered for being a beaten favourite in the 2000 Guineas odds when chasing home Sea The Stars in 2009.
Delegator moves to Godolphin
A move to Godolphin quickly followed and he hit the headlines in his first race for his new yard when winning the Celebration Mile, only to be disqualified after a prohibitive substance was found in a sample given after the race. Three more Group One failures followed in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes when chasing home Rip Van Winkle and then in successive Breeders Cup Mile races behind Goldikova.
Change in trip key to Delegator odds
Now a five-year-old, Delegator’s chances of securing a first Group One victory appear more limited, but he is among the Royal Ascot runners for 2011 and certainly has a good chance in the Golden Jubilee Stakes. Rather than running over 1m, Delegator appears to be rejuvenated over the shorter distance of 6f and he certainly has the late finish required to land the spoils from the horses in the Royal Ascot odds for the Golden Jubilee Stakes.
