Big Brother

Big Brother 10 betting wide open

Since cheeky scouse builder Craig Phillips won the UK's first-ever Big Brother in 2000, Big Brother betting has become a way of life for many punters.

During the past five shows, the winner has been among the favourites as the final approaches but Big Brother 10 betting has been volatile with a number of different house mates heading the market.

All change for Big Brother final betting

There have been surprise evictions of house mates at short Big Brother odds to win this year's show, in particular Luke. The Big Brother betting suggested the eccentric 21-year-old could go all the way to the final, but his diary room snipes and attempts to play off rivals backfired.

Voting leading up to the final is on the basis of the famous prompt: "Who goes? You decide."

Such a system can count against strong characters like Luke who may have both fans and detractors but enough of the latter to get evicted.

However for the final, the system changes so that fans are voting for their favourite house mate to win the show, and a contestant who has not provoked opinion can often struggle to attract votes at this stage.

Michael, Darnell and Kathreya are three characters who have been given plenty of air time and are tipped to fight out the final.

They are joined towards the head of Big Brother 10 betting by the inoffensive Rachel, who has won friends through her empathy towards follow house mates - but will enough callers be motivated to vote for her?

Body builder Lisa, who claims to have seen aliens, has also attracted late interest at attractive Big Brother odds

Humour shortens Big Brother odds

Any housemate who can inject some humour into the show must have a chance in the Big Brother final betting.

The highly amusing Brian Bebo won last year, beating twins Sam and Amanda Marchant who vied for favouritism in the Big Brother betting.

Lovable tourette's sufferer Pete was short Big Brother odds to win Big Brother 7 and did so with 61% of the final vote. Fun loving Anthony took the title the year before, Portuguese transsexual Nadia won Big Brother 5, while the quick-witted Brian Dowling took a record number of votes to win the second series.
